About me

Hi, I moved to Darmstadt from USA 1 year ago. I am an engineer. I have lived in the US for 20 years, and I'm still working there. My constant travelling does not allow me to register for a local German course. However, I have a beginners level German.
I would like to meet someone who is willing to practice their English or Turkish while I am practicing German with them. Thanks...Soner

My German is at a very basic level. Even though I can communicate with almost everyone in English, I would like to be confident in German also. It would be shameful to say "Ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch" in 2 years down the road :). I studied German for few years in school, and I have been also practicing it using Babel for the last 1+ year and finished beginners courses. So, I am not a complete beginner. Actually, if I take a test, one might think that I know the language :)
In terms of English, of course I am not a native speaker. I studied my masters degree in the US, and I have been working with native speakers over 18 years now.
Contact me please if you think we can help out each other
